Ralph R. Garramone Jr., MD, FACS, is a 1987-graduate of New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. His postgraduate training includes his general surgery residency served at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine/Hartford Hospital (1987-1993), where he was named as Outstanding Surgical Resident and earned the prestigious Murray-Helig Award for Excellence in Research. Dr. Garramone Jr. completed his plastic surgery residency requirements and served on the surgical faculty at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital (1993-1995), followed by his craniofacial surgery fellowship at Primary Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Salt Lake City, UT, and his hand surgery fellowship at the Institute for Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at New York University Medical Center.
